Here you can find a listing of some projects I have worked on in the past and/or currently working on. Some of these have launched and I still maintain them and some of them I did the development on but no longer maintain them.
Completed / Launched Projects
AuditOS.com
Web application for both participants to get information regarding their audits, upload the required documents, and contact company with questions. There is also an administrator section where employers and human resources professionals can manage their audit from beginning to end. A custom MVC architecture was designed and developed for specifically for this application. The technologies used include PHP5, MySQL, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript (PrototypeJS and script.aculo.us libraries).
DependentCheck.com
Website with information about dependent eligibility audits for employers and human resources professionals. This site is powered by WordPress. I did the design and development of the site and I currently maintain any needed improvements.
Humana.com Re-Design
I began this project as the lead front-end developer for the re-design and re-development of Humana’s total public site. I did not see the project to the finish because I moved on to another job. I was able to complete the home page and sub pages front-end development before leaving.
MyHealthReform.org
Note: This site appears to have been taken down. I no longer maintain this site since it was developed while at a previous employer.
Allowed users to read information for the new health care reform legislation. Users could use a search for their state’s representatives and send them communication regarding their views, feelings, and wants on the new health care reform issue. I was the lead developer for this project and managed the front- and back-end development of the site. The technologies used were PHP 5, MySQL, and third-party .NET technologies.
NAPA Auto Parts Careers
A site for potential employees to view open positions with NAPA Auto Parts.
In the Works / Experiments
Unnamed PHP5 HMVC (Hierarchical-Model-View-Controller) Framework
Why another PHP framework? I developed a MVC styled framework for my job but that was my first run at framework development. I want to use what I learned and build a framework that I can open source. It may go nowhere, but I will learn along the way.
